About Us

The River Event Center is a premier concert venue located in Byron, MN at the old Olmsted County Lumber Mart (Click on Location for directions above). The promotion and production of every concert is run by Ragged Edge Productions. Concerts at The River feature multiple genres of music in each show. So at any given show you can hear rap, metal, screamo, light alternative, A/C, hip/hop rock and/or pop core in one night. We have something for everyone.

All the volunteers who make up The River and Ragged Edge have built this site from the ground up. Hundreds of man hours, donated and purchased materials have put this site together.

We have a sizable stage at 20' wide by 16' deep plus an 8x8' drum rise, a self contained sound system with a 32 channel mixer, pumping out about 13,000 watts, sound activated lighting, fog machines and rooms for bands to relax.

While The River is geared toward teens and young adults, all ages are welcome! We can hold 425 and we hope to increase the size over time. We are a alcohol and drug free concert venue.
